Excluding the differences with John McCain over campaign finance restrictions and gun show rules the National Rifle Association is endorsing John McCain. Over 2.3 Million has been spent by the NRA’s Political Victory Fund opposing Democratic nominee Barack Obama.
Obama has said he respects the Second Amendment but doesn’t think it precludes “some commonsense gun laws so that we don’t have kids being shot on the streets of cities like Chicago.”
As far as Sarah Palin the Republican Vice Presidential Nominee she’s is a Second Amendment supporter and an active hunter and a definite boost to the NRA. Palin received an A+ from the group when she ran for governor in 2006.
